OMG!

Is trigonometry hard and would you take it with A&P?

My advice is if you do not know anything bout trig don't take it with a&p. A&P takes up a lot of your time especially if you have a demanding professor like I do. I'd say if your not sure what trig is just Google it. ha ha. On the other hand if you are good with mathematics type figures and such, and you think trig will be a breeze go for it.

If you were comfortable in Algebra and Geometry, then you should be fine in Trig, its just an advanced combination of the two. If either of those subjects caused you headaches, you will NOT like the trig class.

Something to add....a lot of it is done with Graphing calculators, so you pretty much just have to rememeber how to use them :) (I havent taken this for a few years so this may have changed since I took it)

yes u can take trig w/ A & P easily. if you are only taking A & P by itself then you are devoting too much time in it.

I found trig to just be a lot of memorization--the unit circle, definitions, formulas. There aren't a whole ton of concepts. If you're planning on going to calculus, it's important to really understand trig!

Everyone else pretty much nailed it.

If you've historically done well in math, trig/pre-calculus will be trivial.

If you've historically struggled in math, this class will be no different.

Remember that math is cumulative so previous performance is probably a decent indicator for difficulty of additional material.
