Omaha schools

We'll be moving to Omaha (from Chicago) this spring. We've been transferred a number of times before, but this is the first time we've moved with school-aged children. We're looking at the west side of town, with properties in Millard, Elkhorn and District 66 areas. Does anyone have any experience/opinions on these districts? We are coming from a very small school district (5 buildings in K-12), so the size of District 66 and Millard is almost overwhelming! I'd greatly appreciate any help! Thanks!

Hi Jolie,

I work in Omaha and have school-aged children. Where will you be working? I'd be happy to help re: school districts and info on local employment. Is your husband military? If so, I can suggest some good locations for both commute and kids' school. Can you send me a private message and we can chat?
