Ok interview - still got the job!

Hi everyone!

I recently interviewed for a new grad position. I thought the interview went pretty well but the more I think about it, the more I think I should have said things differently! Like I forgot to say I would check vital signs for pete's sake!

Has anyone felt this way after their interview and ended up getting the position?

Curious to know. Thanks!

Congratulations on your new position offer.

Don't think about it too much since you landed the position already. Let's put it this way..on my very first day on the floor,

I actually gave one of my patients an assessment, like we did in nursing school.

Yes. The complete head to toe, I'll scan every inch of your body assessment type of a deal with the full use of the second hand clock use.

Enjoy your relaxation until you start your real education, which will be on the floors. ?

LOL! That is so funny. But I actually have not been offered the position yet. Still waiting in agony to hear back. I want to know if others have gone through something similar but ended up getting the job!

Remember though, to keep on applying and setting up interviews.

The last thing you'd want is just play the "I got one interview so I'm all set" type of a thing.

On my case though, the director basically told me after the interview that I'll be getting a offer that very day.

Ah, memories of the time as a fresh graduate. I still remember the weeks of rest waiting for the new hire orientation to begin.
