OHSU Accelerated Program Ashland 2017

I have also recently applied for the ABSN at Ashland. It looks like the interview date is scheduled for March 4th, so we should hear sometime in February if we are being considered. What are your stats? I'm not very confident that I will be accepted but it is my #1 pick. It looks like last year there were 100 applicants for just 18 slots? Yikes! Good luck!

I know, it is very competitive! We shall see. I have a cumulative GPA of 3.61. So not amazing. I am 40, and in my younger years had a few C's here and there. I have my CNA. I am still finishing up pre-req's and won't be finished until spring. I am hoping to go on to become a Certified Nurse Midwife.

"Thank you for contacting the OHSU School of Nursing. For the Accelerated Bachelors Program, interview notifications will be going out within the week and admissions decisions shortly after interviews."

Wow! That seems quicker than usual. Did you ask about when applicants should hear back about interviews? Are you applying for the ABSN/Nurse Midwifery program or just the ABSN for now?

I also applied for the accelerated program at Ashland, and I hope I get in because it's the only school I applied to! I have a cumulative GPA of 3.88, and I work as a caregiver right now. Did you guys apply anywhere else?

The email above that was received today says we should hear "within the week" about if we will be interviewed. I am just applying to the ABSN for now .

I know this post is for ABSN-Ashland campus2017, but I applied for ABSN-Portland campus and I got an email for the interview invitation yesterday. Can anyone who applied to Portland campus start a new thread OHSU ABSN-Portland 2017 please?

Hi there! I wanted to jump on the thread and share info I received from admissions...I applied to the Portland AccBacc program and didn't receive an interview, but was curious if all invites had gone out. Here is the info I got back from admissions:

"Thank you for contacting the OHSU School of Nursing. The first round of applicants have been selected for interviews. All applicants will be notified of whether or not they are chosen for an interview, but other applicants can still be called in for an interview if necessary. Admissions decisions will be sent out shortly after interviews have concluded."

They didn't clarify if this was just Portland, so maybe Ashland invites haven't gone out yet? Congrats to those who will be interviewing!
