@TheEphie I am totally in the same boat! I applied to the same absn program at Ohsu, and was so sad to not get an interview. I was even more shocked to get on the waitlist for Linfield after getting rejected by Ohsu! I thought I stood zero chance. It sounds like this year's waitlist is moving pretty quick, so positive thoughts that you'll hear soon!!! Mindy also told me that they would be in touch when I made it to top ten, but then I just got the acceptance email, so you may be closer than you think :)

Aw man, sorry that you can't get clearer answers It is frustrating how they don't give you an exact number about where you fall on the list this year. I know I was way more anxious not knowing! I really hope you get some good news soon though. I know it's not unusual for them to go through the entire waitlist, but having to wait until after the deposit deadline is killer.

From my experience and what others have shared in another forum, they would only let us know we were "top 20". But Mindy has been very helpful with any questions I had about likelihood of admission while I anxiously waited. I bet if you reached out to her, she could give you an update if you're at least in the top 10 now! I would imagine that there are only at most 20 people left on the waitlist now (since I think they only have a total of 40). Keeping my fingers crossed that everyone hears an update ASAP!

Hi all! In case anyone on here is still waiting to hear about movement on the waitlist, I got received an email today that I've been accepted! I was in the top 20, and it sounds like a lot of movement happened over the past few days. So if you haven't heard yet, hopefully you will really soon :)

Hi kbd3...I got in touch with Mindy earlier this week to ask about movement. Doesn't sound like there's been much yet, unfortunately. She said a lot of times people who intend to decline their offer just never contact the school, so they don't have a good idea of our likelihood of making it off the waitlist until it gets close to the deposit deadline (May 1st). She did let me know I'm in the top 20, but that doesn't mean much as of right now staying hopeful spots will open up for all of us though!

Oh good! I really hope that's the case! I emailed her this morning, and she emailed back really fast. I'm in the top 20 as well! She said to check in next week and hopefully she'll have a better idea of our likelihood of getting in. I am so nervous but excited at the same time!!! I hope we get to be classmates!

Hi Jeni07! I've been scouring the forums to find anyone talking about the waitlist this year for Linfield! Thank you for starting this thread :) I unfortunately don't know where I am on the waitlist at all...I was told they would reach out when I "neared the top of the list", but that was only if I got in the top 10. It seems like in the past they've told students where they fell on the waitlist, so I was bummed to hear this. I am hoping that enough spots open up, but being in the dark about what my chances are is so so disheartening. The top 20 is great though! Here's hoping you'll hear about admission soon!!

Congrats to those who got in! I got my waitlist letter yesterday, and was told this year they let you know when you are nearing the top. They used to let you know what number you were...bummer. Fingers crossed that enough spots open up!

No problem! I actually applied to the Portland campus, so maybe the timeline is a little different for Ashland?

Hi kgood12, I received an email yesterday saying they couldn't offer me admission, as well as contact information to discuss strengthening my application for next year. I applied to the accelerated program, so I don't believe this info has gone out for the traditional track.
