Hi, do any of my fellow Ohio RN's know if we are allowed to laminate our Nursing License?

Why not? You paid for it.
I wasn't sure if they allowed it, like we are not allowed to laminate SS cards.
Wasn't sure.

I laminated my nursing license. I looked all over the back of it and all over the other papers I got after I got my license and I didn't find anything anywhere that said we couldn't. I laminated my social security card too. Again, I couldn't find any information stating that it was not allowed.
I have laminated my license and my SS card. I am not aware of any rule stated by the state or the federal government saying we cannot laminate
these cards.

It is against Federal Law to laminate your SS card. You may protect it by placing it in cover, so it can be removed later. There are certain security
features in the card that lamination may obstuct and thus the law. You must contact the governing body of the card for a ruling to be sure.

I knew it was (against federal law about the SS card), thanks for backing me up!! LOL
I guess I will just put my license in a safe place. Thanks.
