During my clinicals a nurse I was working with had a stethoscope I have never seen before and have never seen again. The diapraghm/bell area was just a colored looking glass stone. Has anyone seen these types of stethoscopes or know what they are called or where to buy them? If they are as good as regular ones?

I think you are talking about the Ultrascope. I liked mine- it was just fine for adult med-surg.

i worked for a couple of years at a neuro facility/clinic . needless to say, the neurological emergencies demanded accurate vascular evaluations, and the ultrascope’s acoustic quality can not be matched. below you'll find a link where to get these...good luck & aloha~

You can buy it as a 'Trio' that comes with adult, ped and neo heads.
It is an excellent scope for adults but I prefer my Littman Cardio III for kiddos.
Yes!! These are it. They are nice! Thank you!
