OCCC Nursing Program for Spring 2013

I just called and the person I spoke with said he was sending them out today.

Yay! I wonder if that means emails will be sent out today as well?!

This was my 2nd time applying, after Fall 2012. My preference points and gpa are the same as they were on my last application...I was placed on the alternate list, but pretty low on it at around #40. Hopefully this is the time, Occc is the only program I have applied for, so crossing fingers. Exciting to see that someone was told the letters were being sent out today! seems like it was just a couple days after that when I recieved a letter in the mail last semester. The email notification had me wondering, but maybe they will be sending those out today too. Good Luck to everyone!

I just checked my mail and found my acceptance letter! It wasn't certified like in previous semesters, so I didn't sign for it. I got in with 17 pts and a 3.9 gpa. I hope you all get yours soon!

Just got my acceptance letter! (19 points). Never did get an email- did anyone else? I've read that they usually take at least 10-15 alternates. :) good luck to everyone!

I think you still have a great chance of getting in. Some people may have applied to other programs and choose to go there instead, and there is always the possibility that someone doesn't get all of their immunizations and everything for clinicals turned in on time. Don't lose hope! You only need two people to decide not to do the program.
