Did you already receive your acceptance letter?

Yes. I received a contingent letter which means I'd be accepted based on the results from my background check which costs $117. I've never been arrested, so I wasn't worried. I received that letter Feb 24th. There's a deadline to have the check completed. It took about 2 wks after, I received an email from the admissions office stating my letter was on the way. My official acceptance letter came in the mail 2 days later.

Did you receive a letter about orientation? My background check came back around 3 weeks ago, and I haven't heard anything else from them yet.

I never realized you messaged me privately back in March and just received a email about you commenting on this post. My bad for the late response, I've answered both questions below.

No. The final acceptance letter only had information about how to setup the D2L student email and the connect accounts. It also advise you to pay a $50 deposit to hold your seat in the program. There is a deadline for that as well, I believe they give you nearly 2 weeks. You wont receive a letter about orientation until the end of May. Orientation will be held on multiple days in June. I'm sure at the orientation they will go over every other detail need for the program.

If you received the letter about the deposit, then you should have your official acceptance letter. That is when you're notified of the $50.00 deposit to hold your spot.

I applied middle of april and got accepted alreaxy. Just waiting for the letter about orientation and to register for classes. Anyone traveling from Columbia?

Yes, I will be. I live in Columbia. And I also recieived my orientation letter in the mail today.

Yes, Car pooling would be really good to do. We could rotate days of the week which will save us all on gas and mileage.

Got accepted for the Fall 2017 program but I had to turn my seat down due to me giving birth in October. I re-applied this past November & got accepted again for the Fall 2018 program. Could you tell me how is it going so far? I have all of my pre-reqs out the way so what courses should I expect to take 1 semester? Thank you.
