OB Job Interview

:chair: Ok so i had an interview for an OB/Postpartum nurse position a week ago. The interview went well, in my opinion. Towards the interview, the interviewee told me that there were a couple of positions open that I had requested for..but didnt give me a date when I would hear back from the institution. What is the proper etiquette regarding job interviews? Should i call back within a week if i dont hear back from them, or just wait to see if they call me back ?? HELP HELP HELP...thanks !!

If you have not already done so, immediately send a thank you note to the interviewer. Just say you appreciate that she met with you and that you are very enthused about the positions and the facility and you know you will do a great job for her, should she decide to invite you to join her team.

Wait until next Monday 11/27, as this upcoming week is a short one. Then if you still have heard nothing, figure you'd better look elsewhere.

Be assured that the minute you find another offer, you will hear from the first one.
