Discussion

nursing student

I will be starting clinicals in a couple of weeks and I am looking to make up a bag to have available to all my fellow classmates and I was looking for some practical ideas. It would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

A bag of what? What do you want to put in it?

I seen someone else post about this before. Very nice of you! I think something like...extra pens, gum, midol, extra tampons/pads, and if you're feeling really generous...some extra change for vending machine. That's all I can think of right now.

band-aids, clear nail polish, emory board, chapstick, a mini sewing kit, extra disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste....that's all I can think of now :)

hair ties, tylenol, midol, hand lotion and if you are wearing white uniforms...TIDE BLEACH STICK!!! its a life saver and no student wearing white should be without one.

Nail clippers, ibuprofen/acetaminophen/etc, extra pens and pencils, pencil leads and erasers, gum, ponytail holders.

In a bag for yourself make sure you put in a pair of earplugs and extra batteries for a tape recorder if you plan on using one.

And what am I supposed to use that for, a makeshift trauma dressing? :D
