Nursing Schools

Hello wonderful nurses. I live in CA and I'm trying to find a nursing school that is not like fort knox to get into. I am willing to move out of state if i have to. If you have any recommendations of any good schools I would greatly appreciate it.

    I finished with all my pre reqs an already applied to my local CC but didnt get in because of the amount of applicants and I have heard its easier to get in to colleges out of state and less expensive.

    Why was the number of applicants a factor? Is it a competitive entry program and you didn't make the cut? ...or is this a wait-list issue?
