Hi! I'm about to take the TEAS but I'm still debating as to where I should apply for nursing school. I am highly considering Keiser Kendall but I am still having my doubts. Does anyone know what the hiring rate is for Keiser graduates?

I wouldn't think it would matter where you graduated as long as you passed the NCLEX. I may be wrong where you are at...but here i'm pretty sure that would be discrimating against a school. But, if I were you I would apply to all the nursing schools around you that you can at least two. So if you don't make it into one school you'll have another to hopefully fall back on.
Good luck!!

Tips for nursing school:
1) With the way the job market is right now, go for your BSN.
2) Check with the Florida Board of Nursing for the schools pass rates on the NCLEX.
http://www.doh.state.fl.us/mqa/nursing/info_RegN_July-Sept10.pdf This school's pass rate is all over the map, goes from 60%(horrible)-90% not bad.
3)Just looking at the website, this school looks to be a loan farm. (1-800 number, financial aid plastered everywhere, slick website). You may walk out of there with a boatload of debt and not a good education. You do not need the stress of looking for a job plus a payment due the the loan company on top of it.
4)Check to make sure they are accredited with the Board of nursing. You do not want to be thousands of dollars in debt and cannot take the NCLEX. It happened here in California.

There are no laws against "discriminating" against a school. If a hospital has found over time that graduates of a certain school don't appear to be well educated and trained, they will be less likely to hire future graduates from that school. That's certainly their right.
That said, the Keiser school should be able to provide you with statistics showing how well their graduates are doing as it relates to getting hired.
