Hello!
I'm taking a Nursing Research class next semester (BSN program). Can anyone tell
me what this class entails?

You'll be getting an overview of the research process... how research questions are developed, developing a theoretical framework based on your literature search, determining how & what to measure (yea - statistics!), and interpretation of results. It's a ton of information. Along the way, you'll be reading & critiquing published studies. Oh - and you'll be learning to conform to APA style writing.
With a great instructor, this class can be life-changing.... altering the way you will look at 'information' for the rest of your life. OTOH, with a bad instructor - it can be a confusing mess. Hopefully, you're not taking this online - evidence indicates that this is much less effective than face-to-face.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
I actually ended up enjoying the class way more than I thought I would! My instructor was amazing, and had a true passion for research.
