Nursing Project Help

If you can make it cutesy...Pen vs. Vial would be cute if you design it like a sporting event. A boxing match or baseball game perhaps. Each study that shows the pen is better for whatever reason - Score or Left upper cut (boxing)! Or baseball - each positive study gets them on base and then enough would score a home run.

Is it a community teaching project or something you have to present to peers ? The type of project determines how much fun you can have with it.

and i would try to have my project members have type 1 and each using a different method and discussing a snippet about rotation sites, pain, weight gain, side effects, the PUMP even (the pump is the "new" hot thing ive noticed alot of elderly patients even ask for)

I keep hearing the Pat Benatar song "Hit me with your best shot!"...

I love all of these ideas! It's a poster project. We have to wear professional clothes and present it in front of the class. Thank you all so much for your help. I'm usually good at coming up with ideas but this one had me stumped.

Syringes and vials are older methods while Insulin pens are newer so I would say 'Out with the old, In with the new" or even 'Vials or Trials, the evidenced base approach to the newest insulin administration practice and compliance rates. Hope I am not too late.

Over the years many clients I have worked with took the pen over the elongated method of vial and syringes not only cause it was easier/streamlined but less time consuming and less scary to use for those just starting self-injections.

We chose "Hit me with your best shot" because my teacher was walking by as I was reading the ideas and she LOVED it. Our project is due in a few weeks. Thank you all for your suggestions!!
