Nursing programs 2014

Hello nursing hopefuls!

I live in BC and i'm hoping to get accepted into a nursing program for this fall/september. I have applied to various schools in the lower mainland and also CNC in Prince George. I believe that my chances are good (positive energy). Let me know if anyone is also a fall 2014 hopeful that has applied to schools in the lower mainland or BC and Alberta

    Are you going to be renting a place or living on campus somewhere?

    I hope I get into UFV, because moving for me would be a huge adjustment, but I gotta do what I gotta do!

    Good luck! I'm on the waitlist to live on campus, but that is where I would like to be. I'm praying I don't end up in some dank basement suite in PG :S ack! I hear ya with the adjustment thing... I figure it will be totally fine, I just gotta take up snowshoeing ;)

    Ya no doubt! Thankfully my boyfriend works out of town so he just rents, and he rents wherever I go which is a bonus because I can just stay with him. If I were renting myself (due to school fees) it would most likely be cardboard box :D.. So that's a perk! I have been checking out places up there and compared to the lower mainland the options are limited, but I think I will be driving up in a few weeks (if I don't get into UFV) to check out the town and some places, I've never been and I figure it wouldn't hurt to go check it out!

    Awesome, I don't think I will have the opportunity to check out PG, but I got a call from VIU the other day and was accepted there.. unsure which to accept. Let me know what you find out about Prince George!!

    congratulations!!! yes I got accepted to cnc fall 2014! I received my acceptance letter the first few days of April. I was am so stoked! Now i am just waiting for my admissions package to arrive. For anyone wondering my overall application GPA was 87%. Only 3 more months until I'm off to PG. I won`t be living on campus though. I plan on renting an appt. close by. We should exchange details

    Hi everyone!

    I have just been accepted to CNC/ UNBC sept 2015 intake. I'm super excited to move out to PG. I am from the lower mainland and just wondering how it is up there? I will be living on res, how do you guys like it? Any tips ?
