Nursing portfolio

Hi all was wondering if in Melbourne nurses do a nursing portfolio every so often say two years which in return gives you an award ie payrise?? In new Zealand, we do something called the PDRP program ( Professional Development and Recognition Programme) where a newgrad nurse does a competent level which includes a compilation of all assessments, evaluations, study days attended and an appraisal which gives you a payrise of about 2000 dollars. After that a nurse with mOre than a years experience can proceed on to do the Proficient level which is the same compilation but might include certifications and preceptorship and doing that gives you a payrise of 3000 dollars. And then you have a final level which is the expert level where u get 4000. I am moving to melbourne next year and am in the midst of completing my proficient level but I was wondering if it's going to be of any use in Melbourne meaning if that would contribute to a payrise in addition to you base salary???

No. There are mandatory minimum continuing education education hours, but if you're a clinical nurse (ie work on the floor) your pay is correlated to the amount of time you've been working since registration (at a pro rata rate for part time).
