Hi,
I just joined this forum. I am a nurse practitioner in upstate New York. I am going to Paris in the fall. Unfortunately for just one week. I am interested in nursing in Paris and would like to hear from Parisian nurses, any nurses living in France or living in the states to email on this forum. I know little French but will be taking French starting in a week and as time goes on will be able to write a little in French.
It should be a good dialogue with others on this forum. I am sure others nurses like myself are interested in nursing across the pond!
Thank you,
XB9S, BSN, MSN, EdD, RN, APN

Welcome
We do have a couple of posters from France, Fred_IDE is one and he has posted some really useful posts on how to get registered in France. You will need to be fluent in French both written and spoken. Have put a couple of links which may help but you may have issues obtaining a work permit as not from the EU

I am just interested in nursing in Paris in general. Not working there. I am going there to visit for a week and am interested in starting a dialogue with other French nurses to see what their experiences are as nurses etc.
Thanks,
caillou
