ANCC announces a new method to prepare for the Informatics certification examination - The Informatics Nurse Study Group! The content for the Informatics Study Group is similar to the information provided during the two day Informatics Nurse Certification Review Seminar with the benefits of studying the week's material in the comfort of your home when it fits your schedule. The only requirements to participate in the Informatics Nurse Study Group are a telephone and an email address.
The Informatics Nurse Study Group includes a program content manual with weekly 90 minute conference call lectures by our content expert speaker. The speaker will review the information presented in the program content manual over the eight (8) week period. The toll-free conference calls will be every Tuesday, starting May 5 and ending June 23, 2009.
The cost for the Informatics Nurse Study Group is $250.00.
A maximum of 16 contact hours will be awarded to nurses who successfully complete the activity.
The American Nurses Association Center for Continuing Education and Professional Development is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
ANA is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 6178.
