Nursing Group

Would anyone be interested in a sort of nurses group? I live in Chandler down in the Southeast valley. Thinking it would be great to meet some other people in the nursing field or who are nursing students. (like me)

We could meet for coffee or maybe a happy hour discuss assignments, issues whatever. Let me know if you are interested. If you want more info about me, let me know Ill give you my email.

hey that is an awesome idea. my husband works there at chandler and i drop by sometimes so ...i am at chandler at least once a week but i live near sun city so i am kinda far...maybe meet somewhere in the middle....say in phoenix...i really dunno...but this would be great!

I actually work in North Phoenix so meeting near downtown would be on my way home. This might allow others to meet up with us as well. I am hoping to get some helpful advice and meet new people. Can anyone PM me if I do not have an upgraded membership?

Whereabouts are you from? If you are closer to where I live, I wouldn't mind meeting with other students...i think it will be fun...nursing students or those still taking pre-reqs...:D

Totally. I think the more diverse group the better. I am only doing my pre reqs now. Is there like a chat room or something we can creat online to go back and forth?

This is exactly what I've been thinking about for the past few weeks! Nursing school and the first year out of school are pretty stressful. As an experienced nurse working with new grads in the hospital and a clinical instructor, I see the need for a time for nurses to get together and find out that what they're feeling and experiencing are normal.

I live in the East valley, and I know I can get a room at my hospital to have meetings every other month. I was planning on contacting the nurse educators at the area hospitals to spread the word.

If you are interested, let me know. My fear was that no one would come. But you guys have given me hope! What do you think?

I am a nursing student that lives in the west valley in Litchfield Park. My class meets at St Joes so I can do downtown sometime!!

I am also finishing up my pre-reqs, and would love to have a study group. I am currently attending Rio, and hoping to transfer to U of A or ASU. I live in Maricopa, so if anyone wouldn't mind driving out there, I can accommodate a study group in my house, or I can drive out to the East Valley. Let me know, thanks!
