Help, I am a repeat offender, meaning I am about to enter into the first semester of the nursing program for the second time...I like to think I am a smart girl but these exams are killing me .....I could really use some good test taking strategies because i certainly am putting in more than enough studying....Ahhhhh....It is not an option to fail out again...Failed out last semester by 3 questions on the final....I also think i need anti anxiety m eds because right before test time comes I panic.......Any advice is appreciated

wishing you well on your second go around. medicating yourself is not the way to go. try using my critical thinking flow sheet for nursing students to help you in learning. to help find information about diseases (signs and symptoms), how the docs diagnose and treat them as well as the medications use some of the weblinks listed on this thread: https://allnurses.com/nursing-student-assistance/medical-disease-information-258109.html - medical disease information/treatment/procedures/test reference websites

i keep a list of previous allnurses threads where the critical thinking of test questions is debated. would you like the list so you can look at them? there are also 3 internet websites that post a weekly nclex question which i will post for you if you like. the idea is to help learn how to think critically.
