Nursing couples

Hello! Im in my 3/4 semester of nursing and my fiancé is in his 2/4 semester. I will be graduating in may and hopefully starting my 1st nursing job in June/julyish. Im just wondering how scheduling has worked for others in hospital setting where you both work 3 days a week. Were you able to do self scheduling and work the same days, or is it a mess and you never see each other ?. Im thinking about applying to a union hospital, which who knows if they even have self scheduling.

Once you both are working your nursing jobs, you will figure out what best works for both of you. Some couples want all days off together, some want a day off alone, and others want to work opposite schedules because they would not need daycare.
