Nurses who work from home

If I recall correctly, I'm pretty sure that there are some of you who do work from home. I am trying to brainstorm ideas of ways to use my nursing license and background in a job that is at least part-time working from home. Some of these jobs are for insurance companies, right?

If anyone has any details about that, or any other jobs that are like that, can you tell me a bit about it?

(If it helps, my background is about 8 years of pediatric critical care.)

Also check out triage services or companies which provide 24/7 nursing telephone coverage for patients.

Search the major job boards, and the websites for companies like BCBS, Aetna, Humana to get an idea of the telecommuting positions they are hiring for.
