AN has compiled a list of offers for nurses during Nurses Week 2016:

Cinnabon

Get ready to enjoy a free sweet treat this week. Cinnabon is rolling out the red carpet again for nurses this year, offering a free Cinnabon Classic Roll of MiniBon roll. This offer is valid May 6-12.

Nurses can get a 30 percent discount on purchases of at least $50. Use the code "6223" for online orders or show your ID in store to participate.

Disney Hotels

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel offers nurses a "very special room rate." While the Orlando resort doesn't give any specific details about the offer, nurses are invited to call 1-888-828-8850 for more information. This offer is valid through Dec. 23.

Johnson & Johnson

In an effort to make hard-working nurses' days a little brighter, Johnson & Johnson is giving away several free items. Nurses, or those who love them, can request free "Nurses Save Lives" and "Thank a Nurse" magnets, coloring books, a "Nurses Heal" pin and more.

Take $20 off and get free shipping with any $100 purchase or more with coupon code SPRING20 until May 18.

Nordstrom

Get a free Estee Lauder Gift Set with any $35 Estee Lauder purchase with promo code COOL1 until May 31.

FruitBouquets

Take 20 percent off your purchase with promo code FRUITNOW until May 9.

EVOS

When you go with a friend to EVOS on Friday, May 6, you'll get a free meal or salad when they purchase theirs.

Nurses take action! Buy Calendars with Nurses Day printed on May 6 and call your calendar company and tell them to put it on if it is not.

Call local Florists and tell them to advertise Nurses Day and Nurses Week. Buy Cards for Nurses Day. Stand up for recognition of the Profession. Many other professions are celebrated by Restaurants and other business and so should Nurses. Outspoken TV Shows with Karon RN

Nobody pays any attention to nurses day - least of all the facilities/places nurses work. When was the last time anyone received a bonus - or anything for that matter that made any difference to them?
