Nurses in Partnership

Hello, i am about to start a travelling nursing career in February. I have signed up with Nurses in Partnership. So far, they have been really helpful and take the time to call me. Has anyone worked for them or heard anything about them? i would greatly appreciate any onfo. Thank You!

I have never worked for them. I can suggest that it would be a good idea to talk to severl different companies before you decide on one. Ask about private housing, furnished housing, paid for phone/cable/utilities, travel pay, benefits. Also ask if they charge when you call in sick or take time off. Some companies try to make you pay them $50/day for every day you are sick, take off, etc... Or make you pay back the hours by working overtime. Just be careful. If the company you are talking to now knows you aren't talking to anyone else, they may be less competitive.

I just finished a contract with NIP in Cali. They were pretty good as far as agencies are concerned. They paid well and on time. They worked out charge pay for me when the hospital was putting me in charge all the time. They called about every other week but they knew I didn't need any hand holding.

Thank you for the input. I have signed up with NIP and will be working in Palm Beach, FL starting February. I have liked them the best compared to other companies. I would love to go to CA after my 1st assignment. How is the pay compared to other states? How was the hospital you were assigned to?? Thank You!!

I have never worked with NIP, so this is just hearsay, but on another forum (specifically for travelers), I have seen about three posts about bounced checks from NIP. The nurses who were on contract were really angry about this. Again, I have not worked for them, so I don't have any personal experience with this, but I'd check that out, before I signed with them.

I went to Valley Pres in Van Nuys. It was a little messed up but I heard they just dumped the NM and CN so it should be better now. The people were good and I actualy liked most ot the Drs. They just put a new coat of paint in the ED and it looks much better. The pay was not bad either. I hope you like Palm Beach, it is the best time of year to be there. I am in Mouse town (Orlando) now getting my bussiness up and running.

I am currently with NIP they have been great. I think you will be very pleased with them.
