Given the nurse shortage and the upcoming retrogression of the Schedule A visa allotment, what are your opinions about having agents for U.S. nursing graduates? In other words, can an attorney or other healthcare official represent a group/bulk of RNs to negotiate a higher salary and better benefits for the group??? Like a sports agent would do with an athlete, but with nurses instead??? The high demand and low supply makes this feasible and may help all nurses in the long run. Thoughts???
