How many of you have a NP as your healthcare provider?

The group I see has about 4 different offices. In the particular office / town where I live they don't have a NP. I did use the PA when she was there though.

I see the PA in the office. His knowledge of sports medicine is way better than the physicians. As living proof of why 40 somethings shouldn't take up kick boxing I seem to need his services more than others. When I was with VA I saw an NP there. Admitted he didn't know much about asthma but was willing to learn.

I do and I wouldn't have it any other way!

At the practice I go to there are no NPs (hey I picked it waaaay before nursing school and just stayed) so I see either the internist, family practice physician, or PA depending on availability.

I have an NP as my gyn provider and my daughter is going to her also.

I see an NP or PA at times in our local clinics for regular appointments but also see a physician. Depends on who has appointments available.

There is one NP locally who I just don't like but that has nothing to do with skills.
