QTbabynurse: they did not lose their accredidation but were on the verge because of lack of students passing the NCLEX. The admissions director of the nursing program explained to me that the reason they feel this was happening was because they accepted to many students. They are now accepting 50 in the fall and 40 in the spring where before they accepted 90 in the fall and none in spring.

when do they do interviews for the fall? does anyone know?

They are already doing interviews for fall.

i sent my application in about 3 weeks ago... still have not heard anything...i really hope to get an interview...

Give it time... they do interviews until next month. Acceptance letters don't go out until the first week of June. Good luck!

i applied for fall '09 also and had my interview on March 11th. I actually spoke to the head of admissions for nursing assistant, a couple of weeks ago and she told me everything's being done quicker than usual and all acceptance letters will be sent out after may 1st and Baptist actually wants to start their acceptance process for their program by June 1st (meaning everyone would need their acceptance letters already).

Thanks for the new info. I got an e-mail from the program director Gale Woolley and she told me the first week of June. That e-mail was sent to me exactly a week ago. You didn't receive anything yet did you?

You should ask in your interview tomorrow when acceptance letters will be going out and let us know! :) since they've been telling each of us something different. Maybe you'll get a more accurate answer.

And good luck!!! Its no big deal its very relaxed. I guess it just depends who you get for your personal interview. The prof I had when I went on march 11th was the nicest person ever.
