Nova fall 2015 applications

Hello,

I am currently attending MDC for my nursing pre-reqs which I will be done with this summer 2015. I am going to be submitting my transcripts now in February and applying for Nova for fall 2015. Does anyone have any info on if they will let you apply before actually finishing the pre-reqs? My GPA dropped from a 3.8 to around a 3.2 last semester because I failed college algebra and got a c in another class. I will be retaking college algebra again during summer to replace the grade. I have all A's in my science classes just messed around in the other classes and didn't do to well. Hopefully I.can bring it up to a 3.4-3.5 by the summer. Does anyone have any info on if I will will still be considered with the 3.2 I have for now? Does anyone know anyone that has gotten in with this GPA? Any info would help and good luck to everyone applying.

Congrats, I currently have courses in progress but will also be taking my last classes during the summer so I cant send transcripts showing those classes in progress until they start may 11, the website says deadline for application is june 1, so I hope there is still space for august.

i really think you have a great opportunity. How was your interview ?? Good luck

hi NurseTica can you please give more details about the interview especially the Kaplan exam

@Nurse Tica

The interview consist of group questions and individual questions each of you will have a chance to answer. It's very laid back and you shouldn't really worry about it. Try not to over prepare for the interview as you don't want to sound like a machine when you are answering your questions. Interview was just a way of them getting to know you. Kaplan exam consist of four sections math reading writing and science. math is very easy. . Conversions between fractions and decimals and basic math. Reading is also simple it is reading passages and answering about five questions about the passage including main idea topic sentence etc. I would say the hardest part was the science part as it consists of a lot of physiology... I would say concentrate on this the most this is the one where people fail the most. remember that there is no pass or fail score I've seen people get in with as low as 54 and as high as 84.

Hi all! I submitted my app to Nursing Cas and had my transcript sent there! I also submitted my sublimentary app to Nova, but do I have to have my college transcripts sent to Nova as well or only nursing CAS? I'm a little confused please let me now!??? Thanks guys
