here is my problem, i currently am taking BIO 201 at jeff state for the summer...planned on going to UAB in the fall...i went onto UAB website to look at classes that would transfer, BIO 201 was considered an elective, you had to have Bio 202 with BIO 201 for it to count as anything more than an elective...i do not want to take a class i have to work hard in, if it wont even count and could possibly hurt my GPA if i do not do well...but UAB has not sent my acceptance letter yet bc they have not recieved my transcript from another school, although im prettys ure i will be accepted.
should i go ahead and drop the class? and just wait to take it at UAB??

I'd say take the class. You may be lost in bio 202 without 201, and many times you need electives anyway. The content will certainly help you in your future career (I'm assuming it is in healthcare), and the hard work can be rewarding. Perhaps you should talk to your advisor?

Agree with previous poster, definitely speak with your advisor. Plus, if you're going to be in healthcare...you're going to have to face that biology class at some point. You'll either be taking it now or taking it later. Your advisor would be the best person to ask.
