  1. here is my problem, i currently am taking BIO 201 at jeff state for the summer...planned on going to UAB in the fall...i went onto UAB website to look at classes that would transfer, BIO 201 was considered an elective, you had to have Bio 202 with BIO 201 for it to count as anything more than an elective...i do not want to take a class i have to work hard in, if it wont even count and could possibly hurt my GPA if i do not do well...but UAB has not sent my acceptance letter yet bc they have not recieved my transcript from another school, although im prettys ure i will be accepted. should i go ahead and drop the class? and just wait to take it at UAB??
  2. im only 19 and i recently changed my major to nursing, still taking my core classes in college. i don't have the worse or the BEST grades, im just average. i hear that to become a nurse is so competitive now it scares me that since i do not have the best grades, i wont get accepted into the program. im not the best at math either, do i have to be great a math to become a successful nurse? can anyone tell me what classes i need to take to get 4 year degree? i did a lot of research but its all so overwhelming to me......
  3. I am a sophmore in college and to be honest the first two years I didn't really focus on my grades.I am an average C student. In the beginning I declared my major to be psychology, but now I want to become a nurse. But I'm not sure you can get into a nursing program with a psy. degree? Is there still a chance or me to become a nurse even though my first 2 years of college were rocky? Where do I begin? Any advice would help! :) thanks
