Hi!!!
My recruiter called today to tell me that my profile was accepted, no interview, no questions, at the next hospital I wanted to work at. It is a big big level one (109,300 visits a year...:uhoh21:).
She said it's common for this to happen and that they felt my profile was strong etc.
They offerred me a great shift, good pay, and stuff like that.
The company is also good from what I hear (A new one for me), so I am not worried about it from that end.
I asked her to have the Unit Manager please call me so I could ask a few questions before signing...My recruiter said she would set that right up - not a problem...
Is it typical to have a profile accepted with no interview? Or is something going on here that is not so hot??
Granted, my last interview was about 8 minutes, and consisted of "When can you come...oh thank goodness???" but still... Could use some advice from some longer term travelers...I don't want to get in over my head etc...
Still, Yipee, I've been looking for this contract for a while.

Katie I have heard this happening but I would want to talk to someone to get more information.

Hey,
Thanks Renarian,
I did ask the recruiter if I could talk to the manager, so they gave me her telephone number and I rattled off a bunch of questions. She gave me a ton of information, including that the department is huge, so I need to be able to walk... (I figured with that many visits it would be huge) and stated that she pretty much accepted me on my past employment at a well known level one...
So that clears things up. I accepted the contract, it is going to be so much fun to be near my sister!!! I'm a bit nervous still abotu the amount of visits, but I suppose thats all to be adjusted to as I get there... :)
