prior purchasing the $650 fee NNAS initial registration, i have a pending nclex exam application for US. do you suggest to sit through the nclex US exam before starting my nnas application?

i read it is going to be a long process for nnas. if i will be able to pass the nclex us exam but have already started my nnas application, will i be able to add to my application my nclex exam from us? since i havent taken it yet but will do hopefully this year.

also, how about ielts? i havent taken it yet. do i have to do it prior starting my nnas?

i am an RN in the philippines currently working.

thank you very much. hope to get helpful answers from anyone.

NNAS will not complete your application and for that you need English exam. I think NCLEX for the US that you passed is more for province. Not sure if NNAS needs it as the province will make decision to whether they accept it or not

The NNAS website is rather clearly organized and has an extensive FAQ section. Writing the NCLEX in the US won't save you any money on your application to NNAS. It also won't necessarily speed up the process for you. If you decide to write in the US after all, you may edit your application with NNAS by logging on to the site, going to your Dashboard and updating whatever you need to change. You don't have to have a passing score on IELTS or CELBAN before applying but not having a current score (completed no more than 6 months before you submit your application to NNAS) MAY slow the process down.

I strongly recommend you download the NNAS handbook and read it through several times. IT contains all the necessary information to guide you through the process.
