NMC renewal

Question: Im a uk nurse whos on maternity leave and unfortunately forgot to renew my nmc licence which expires in march!!! Rang nmc who said they will need to send me a pack to re register. Im due to start working in october but im on annual leave this sept. my question is while waiting for the registration whilst on annual leave, will i get paid for that leave or

    You need to renew asap the hospital may not pay you if not renewed so need to speak to your HR.

    My hospital will pay you as a band 2, registration will take a little while. I suggest you contact your nurse manager and explain.
