NMC documents

The NMC does its own thing, sometimes its efficient and sometimes not.

Personally I have always found the only way to get things processed is to go and sit in the seating area in reception, with a large sandwich and drink and state that you will not go home until you have spoken face to face with someone dealing with your case.

When i was trying to get my California license, the NMC just shelved my paperwork for about 3 months. When i got there I found that the person dealing with it had gone off on long term sick leave, and the work she had been doing was just left on her desk. Nobody thought to go through her papers and continue processing the cases she was working on.

But its just as bad everywhere else, I had to go to the California office in Sac as well, they had just filed my application without processing it. I had sent my SSN as requested, turns out they wanted the actual card, not just a copy. But nobody thought to tell me, they just filed my application as incomplete and left it there until I showed up and made a scene : )
