Nice Things Behind Your Back

Often, what we say about others says more about us than it does about the other.

We often talk about others in order to point out and attempt to understand questionable behavior. Sometimes we talk about others in order to elevate our own low self esteem.

Wendy Kraminer said in her classic book, I'm Dysfunctional, You're Dysfunctional that there are two truths about people- one being "everybody likes to talk about themselves".

We like to think that people are saying good things about us behind our back, like, "That Davey Do is a good nurse, but he's also a jerk-faced creep. Deserving of respect, of course".

So what sort of nice things do you think your co-workers say about you and your professional abilities behind your back?

Hmm...good question! Probably:

She's a BOSS.

She's hilarious...in a good way of course.
