hi..i am new to this site..but i am a frequent user to britishexpats...anyway i am living in Saskatchewan..and would really like to continue the work i started in the hospital i worked in for 4 years..i worked in the maternity area as a maternity care assistant...which i loved i then decided i wanted to train as a midwife i went to college and got my a-levels and got offered a place at uni..but i fell pregnant and decided having a new born and 3 other kids was to much for studying to...anyway so here i am a year on in Canada i have sent my resume to the local hospital..to the boss of the nursing department who i have also spoken with..to see if its possible to do a job simular to my UK one she told me that midwifes had only just got into the hospitals here and she would speak to obs manager...after 3 months and still no answer from the boss of nursing and many emails to her..im still doing a job i hate..any advice i would greatly appreciate..oh we are currently waiting for our perminant residancy to go through shouldnt be long as we are at the end..thanks
