New Student, Future RN

Hello Everyone, I'm new to allnurses and I'mvery excited to communication with new future student into the nursing field. I have worked in human resource for 10 years, but I found myself helpless when the business closed. HR was my dream job! I stay unemployed about 2 years before I accepted a job at local hospital as a Patient and Provider Advocacy. I love what I do because it gives me the opportunity to advocate for people. After high school, I started college for nursing, but things didn't work out because of my own immature ways. Throughout life, I talked about my college days and going back to school. However, life's circumstances prevented me. Now in my mid thirties, I thought I miss my window of opportunities. Like the O' Cliche,"time don't wait for no one."

My Husband got diagnosed health problems and I took care of him. During this process, I realized that I would be an excellent nurse. Here I'm approaching my wonderful golden years and I decided to enroll into nursing school. I start this upcoming spring 2018. I super excited but nervous too.

Welcome to AN. You will need to change your username. TOS does not allow you to use "RN" in your username unless you are an RN.
