My company is instituting a new scrub policy. Nurses are required to wear navy. They want us to purchase Cherokee navy but I hate Cherokee scrubs. Anyone have any experience in what brands match in color? I'm hoping to purchase med couture but I don't know if the navy will be close enough in comparison. TIA

My hospital not only wants us to purchase Cherokee navy, but they dictate which styles we can wear. Unfortunately, none of those styles fits my 62 year old body very well. I'm going to tell you what my wonderful former orientee told me:
"I'll wear the tops, because we have to have them embroidered with the hospital name. But I'm wearing the bottoms I choose. If the color doesn't match, well that's what happens when you launder cheap-ass scrubs in hot water."

Go to a uniform store and make some up close and personal comparisons. I think the navy uniforms are pretty close in color.
Hey, at least you got Navy Blue instead of Royal Blue. Or white. Or other obnoxious color.

Grey's Anatomy scrubs seem to be pretty close to Cherokee colors...but then again, the styles are completely different. I'm sorry OP. I haven't worn standardized scrubs since nursing school, and I don't think I could ever go back to it.

Hospital furnished gold soon to fade to pee color scrub tops with "logo" and navy wide leg pants. All unisex and Cherokee. Not my favorite so I purchased the Landau women's classic tapered leg scrub pant in navy. Unable to tell the difference except mine fit and because I hem my pants/scrubs, they don't drag, but "break beautifully on top my shoes." Flo Nightingale, would be so jealous.
