In addition I would brush up on your growth and development milestones, childhood immunization schedules, look for tips on how to do an accurate well-baby (or well-child) check, like head circumference, height and weight on a recalcitrant toddler, best practice for injection technique based on wt/age, and just generally how to gain and maintain rapport with kids and parents! Relax, get to their eye-level when you talk to them, and smile a lot! If you enjoy being around children, they usually pick up on that. Best wishes to you! smile.gif

For a MD'S office, this is perfect advice, especially the immunization schedule. Don't forget to mention Gardasil and ask when the parents had their last pertussis booster!
