New to Nursing!

Hi all!

A friend of mine in nursing school recommended this website to me when I expressed an interest in nursing!

I live in Richmond and am curious which programs are the best and if any of you have advice on where to start or what pre-requisites I need to break into this field! Any suggestions or help you can offer would be so much appreciated, I can't wait to start this new path!!

Hi Michelle! I'm not in the Richmond area, but I hear a lot about Bon Secours, which is a diploma program -- http://www.bonsecours.com/bsmson/ -- and J. Sargeant Reynolds' RN program, which is an associates degree program -- http://www.jsr.vccs.edu/jsr_hmt/default.htm. If you're looking for a BSN program, I know VCU has one: http://www.nursing.vcu.edu/
