New Job question!

Hello all,

I just got another job offer!!! I am so excited! This is for a prn rn position while I continue np school :)

Question is …the manager hired me right on the spot…and introduced me to the people who manage and coordinate the rns.

She said the human resrouces recruiter will send me a offer letter…and she was going to introduce me to her but she was on the phone.

Anyway…so my offer was given verbally at 1 pm today and I don't have any offer in my email…my question is…how long should i wait for the offer to come? I was planning on calling tomorrow….? I don't want to pester these people but I want to get this all started!

Congratulations!!! I would probably wait this week. If you do not receive an offer letter by Monday, it would be okay toncall the manager to check what's going on.

I agree with the idea of waiting till Monday. It can take time for HR to create the official offer (they need to consider your experience and figure out your pay). And if the manager is behind, HR might not even get the go-ahead for awhile.
