New to EC - Please help

After reading some posts I was wondering what to start with?

Should I start with A&P or do H/S?

I was thinking a/p would be the best option because a/p provides the foundation for everything else in nursing?

Please advise.

Thanks

I would advise you to get A and P out of the way. Just get it over. It is a big consumer of time and effort and you are right, it can be found throughout the program.

Thanks a lot. How far are you in your program?

I actually started with H&S first instead of A&P as i felt it was basic stuff I learned in LPN school (nursing process, communication, easy med dosage questions) I wanted to get one of the nursing one's out of the way so that I could feel more confident. I know myself and knew A&P would be difficult for me so I wanted to do an exam that i KNEW i could knock out.

I also purchased the practice exams for H&S and took those first (the first one toward the half-way point of my reading, and the last one a week before i took the actual exam) I would take the exam content guide from EC (the free download that looks like a syllabus) and take each section then depending on the % weight for that section I would assign myself "due dates" for the reading. I onlyl use the recommended textbooks and a few supplemental books at this time. If you have any other questions just email me.

I chose to do A&P and Micro last while waiting for my CPNE date. If time is not an issue I don't suppose it would matter.
