a couple of months ago i wrote and said i was taking the net test to get into the lpn st. margaret's program. well once again i'm wasn't accepted into the program because i didn't score high enough on the test. i needed a 55 composite score overall math 50 reading 52
my scores 45 composite score math 49 reading 40 i was so angry with myself i cried crocodile tears for 2 days. this is my 3rd time taking the test i just can not seem to pass this test. i really want to be a nurse
has this ever happen to someone out there and if so please help a sister out.

I would recommend doing a search in the pre-nursing forum for anything referencing the NET. I think you will find a large amount of study guide advice. I used the ERI study guide to prepare for my NET test. If you can master the math problems in that study guide you should do well. The reading part is a little more complicated. If you find that you weren't fast enough maybe an online speed reading course could help you. Another website which was great for practicing was http://www.testpreview.com. Also, if time is the issue you might want to put a stop watch right on the table during your test so you can manage your time better. Good Luck!

a lot of programs are incorporating the TEAS test. maybe you will do better with that :) they give u a packet to study.
