Nervous About LPN Program

Hi this is my first post on here, i'm new! I am supposed to start my LPN program in August and i have talked to the director of the program and taken my TEAS and i was supposed to do my interview this month but then they told me that they have extended to maybe next month they don't know they said they would call when they know! I'm frustrated because they don't return phone calls or answer questions, i have done everything i need to but they seem to be unwilling to tell me any details about the program or when i will know if im accepted or not. I need some advice do i push them or should i just wait for them to contact me?

Welcome to Allnurses.com!

Do not push them unless you do not have an answer by July 15th or so. If you're accepted into the program, they'll let you know. If they've rejected your application for admission, they'll also let you know. Since the start date is in August, they have plenty of time to let you know whether you are admitted or rejected.

Good luck!

Even if you find out if you are accepted, you may still not get any details until 4-5 weeks prior to your official start date. I was denied early admission earlier this year, then recieved an acceptance letter in May. My school's start date is Sept. 3, so they told us we should recieve our schedules around the last week of July. I know that that's hard for students that have day care and work to plan ahead for, but this is when your support system really needs to be there for you. Best wishes, from a fellow future :nurse:
