I am worried that the class will fill up and I won't be able to start until Aig of 2010.The school I am interested in requires you to take Anatomy and Physiology 1 & 2, College Algebra, English, Ethics, and a couple other classes before you can start, BUT if you have 18 credits of theses listed classes, you can still apply. I do, so I applied to Sentara School of Health Professions. The only problem is that I am still taking 2 classes and will not be done until May but I am worried that the class will fill up by then. Classes start in August!!!!The only problem is that they are starting a BSN program, and will not be teaching class In Jan of 2010. Their classes are in Aug and Jan.... I amticipated on starting in August, but thought if classes were full I could just start in Jan, but now I find out they are not teaching in January.... Will the class fill up before I am done with my classes in May?

They tend to fill up quickly. Maybe they can take you knowing you are currently enrolled in the other classes. Good luck!

you are worrying about something of which you have no control and that is stressful. Do your best to be considered a candidate. Consider an appointment with the Dean or an advisor or anyone in the nursing school. This is like a job interview. Dress appropriately and make sure they see you as a mature, self-motivated student. That might help. Good luck.

I'm in my 2nd semester of pre-reqs, currently taking A&P2 and a few others. So I'm starting the nursing program in the fall. With my school, they start web scheduling in early April.....so you can go online starting that day to register for fall classes. Last semester, it took me about almost 2 hours to finally get through because everyone's doing it and the site it slow. And yes the classes fill up quick! They don't do this early class registration at your school? Another thing they do at my school, if the classes fill up, some professors will let you in the class regardless because they know people are going to drop out and there will be room. Anyway.....good luck!
What school do you go to????
