So I finally got a job at a blood bank as a donor processor I havent been working since 2006. So I decided to go back to school in January 2010 for nursing. I need to get my pre-reqs courses out of the way first..also I have been trying to pass the accuplacer test and I can't I need to pass this before I can start taking college courses. I took it twice and failed it miserably.. i was wondering do you know any sites that help with math.. or any tips on how to pass it? also im going to try to get into Tarrant County College nursing program. I heard it hard to get in so I was wondering what are things they look for? volunteer hours? grades? bilingual? plz help!
TIA

I tested into intermediate math (122) after 15 years of not being in school. To get ready for the placement test, I borrowed a high school algebra book and studied the lessons and tried the exercises in it. I think it really helped.

At my school if we fail a section once, we get to take a free class at the student center and it counts as college credits, they give us things to work on to better our scores and knowledge.
