Need Some Help

Hi all.

This is my very first post to this forum. Thanks in advance! :)

I'm currently in a community college doing my pre-reqs for an ADN, but unfortunately I was not able to get straight As on them. I have 1 C and 1 B, ENG1 and A&P1. I want to transfer to another school this fall of 2010. My problem is I don't know where/how to retake those 2 pre-reqs this spring or summer. I don't want to waste time nor take both this fall. The school that I am attending now wouldn't allow me to retake the 2 courses since B and C are passing grades.

Any advice on how to take the 2 important courses this summer? Anyone have an idea where to take it? Online? I'm in NYC btw.

    Hi, you need to check with the nursing program you are trying for. If it is at the same college you went to, you may not be able to retake them. I got a "C" in Anatomy, but the nursing program I am applying for will only take that first grade. Good Luck

    A lot of community colleges that have online courses will allow you to repeat courses, and some colleges specifically have fast paced courses for the summer. I don't live in NYC so I would research the colleges or universities near you to find what courses are available on their websites, and what their policy is for transferring to their college or attending as a transient.     My advice would be to find a different school to take the courses. You can find online courses or summer courses if you look hard enough. Try this link for the Anatomy course: http://www.une.edu/com Another online option is: http://www.ocean.edu Both of these schools provide online courses that many students use for transfer purposes. Good luck.
