Need your opinion/answer please...

Hello to the STAFF of allnurses and fellow members!!!

Just want to ask you a question about ATT???

A friend of mine (foreign graduate) her ATT got expired because she went back to her country for emergency.

My question is... Is she qualified to request a Reapply/Reexamination forms? Or she will apply all over again? I mean does she have to send those forms again to her school of nursing? She called CA board of nursing twice and talked to licensing operators. Both have a different answers. One said "reapply/reexam" and the other one said "apply" all over again. We are confused.

Any input will very much appreciated.

I think she has to register with pearson vue again only. It may also depend how long her ATT lapsed not sure. Call the BON where the application was accepted and asked what to do so that she can take the exam.

Hope this helps, Good Luck

Depends on how long ago she applied to the BRN. If it was recently then she may be ok and just needs to register to sit the exam again. If her eligibility has expired then she may have to resubmit to the BRN again. They should be clear on giving her an answer

Have her call again and state that she was given conflicting info. Then she should act based upon what she is told this time. Advise her to make sure she gets the name of the individual she speaks to and makes a note of the date and time of the call.
