need my high school transcript!! to apply to lvn program!!

oh i don't know what to do ,,,,,i need to get a transcript from my prep highschool in chicago n i can't find the school it disappeared ??? it was like a private,,,charter high school,,,,,i was admitted to college with my diploma ,,,,,but the nursing program list needs the transcript!!! will they accept my diploma only??? at south east san jacinto college??

    I would imagine the college itself is the appropriate entity to answer your question. Call them.

    i am kind of nervous to ask them if the diploma will do ,,,,,since preparatory high shool closed in 2004 n can't find anyone to give a transcript!! i have attended hcc n san jacinto with my diploma only so ?? i know alot has changed since i attended college,,,,,,i wonder since i was admitted to college again they will accept my application into the nurseing program with only the DIPLOMA ??

    but they do require the transcript right ,,,do you think they will accept only my diploma ? i know the Rn program list doesn't say need high school transcript but the LVN LIST DOES,,,,,N I cant find anyone in chicago that can locate them not even the board of education of chicago!!

    I would go and talk to admissions. At one time an older student did't need to be a HS grad to take the PN course (at least were I live). I would wonder if that is not the genesis of that req. Since you have college credit already, it does seem rather odd/over top, to req the HS transcript. Good luck

    the best thing to do is just to go to the nursing office and ask them, because the admissions office will tell you to talk to the nursing department..
